Here are 8 Ways to Increase the Value of Your Offers and Build your List

Freebies, Freebies everywhere we turn we are offered freebies. Whether it’s a ebook, ezine or some service websites use them to attract new subscribers. And they work most of the time because FREE sells. But with everyone offering something to their visitors, you will need something to stand out and make your offer more valuable.

Here are 8 tricks to increase the value of your offer and attract more visitors to becoming part of your list.

1. Put a dollar amount of value to your free product. You can pick up private labels rights all over the net for nothing or close to it. But that ebook or software had a purchase value to it at one time so inform the visitor of that value.

2. Add more products to your free offer. For example, offer a batch of products for their subscribing to your ezine. Call these offers “For Subscribers only” and do not allow access to it unless they subscribe. It raises the perceived value because not just anyone can have it only those who provide their info.

3. Limit the availability of the freebie. Using time limits is a great way to increase the click through for your offer.

4. Along those same lines, limit the availability to a certain number of people. This tactic also works great for selling items as well. Restricting the access to a limited amount will drive those that are serious for you product to take action now versus later.

5. Make sure to list all the benefits. By hitting all the hot buttons of your target audience by showing all the potential benefits of your freebie you will motivate action in them.

6. Make your offer appear more attractive by saying it is “new” or “previously unreleased”. Using uniqueness will set the product apart from others being offered on different sites.

7. List some testimonials if you have them. Most businesses do not give testimonials for their freebies so this could defiantly increase its value. However, do not use fake testimonials. If you need some just ask for them to review the product and submit one. Offer something else of value, such as a link to their site for their testimonial.

8. Tell your visitors how many others have already received your offer. By sharing this info the visitor will feel compelled to take advantage because so many others already have.

I hope you get some use out of these tips. With some many sites using freebies to gain subscribers you need to stand out to gain new and repeat visitors. Just remember to give “real” value not just some throw away ebook from 5 years ago. No one wants old recycled information. And you could see the “unsubscribe” link being used more often too.
