TEAM BUILDING CREATES LEVERAGE AND SUCCESS

Team Building is a huge part of many HomeBased Business’s offered today, and for very good reason. Teams allow you to take advantage of leveraging.

Leveraging is capitalizing on the strength of numbers. When you leverage using a team, you are enlarging your audience and market for your product or service. The more team members you have, the more people doing the advertising and selling product.

The key for leveraging to work is to create a team and teach them to do the same so that each of them can utilize the power leveraging.

This principle is used in many different business models:

*Fast food restaurants, and franchises

*Car dealerships use more models to attract more customers

*Info marketers use affiliate programs

*Many on-line companies do the same by offering an opportunity to join and then sell the product and share the profits.

The on-line model is where we see the biggest challenges and also the largest failure rates. When was the last time you saw a Burger King go out of business?

A large part of that success is linked to “Branding”

Branding is not a new idea. However, it has really taken off on the internet ever since Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring Book and System was released. In this book he emphasized its importance for long term success.

Team building is really no different. You must show your leadership, or brand yourself a leader to build your team. People are seeking a team with a leader that will guide them to success.

Unfortunately it takes more than a system or a book to build a team. You must also teach them how to duplicate that system to grow their team. When this happens, leverage for your group really takes off.

Your job as the leader is to produce as many other leaders as you can. Guide them to success, “Show them the money”, and they will produce like never before.

You will never be recognized as a true leader until you have trained others to repeat or even surpass your success. Do not feel threatened or fear the competition. There is plenty to go around.

When you have trained others to duplicate your success, it is the BEST compliment you can be given. You have created leaders AND leverage because all of your team members, despite their surpassing you, are still on your team…under you! There is no “I” in team. Build and train your team. When you really lead and teach duplication everyone, present and future, wins!
