Home Business Success Versus Regrets

Achieving success in a home based business or anything for that matter requires taking on one of the minds arch-enemies; Regret!

Forgetting the past is only one step in the process of defeating regret, more over we must also forgive ourselves as well.

In order to win and forgive we must also remove the two most powerful, negative words in our language. When used together they are a dangerous reminder of opportunities lost and goals not let achieved and will limit your success.

These two words are… IF ONLY!

It would surprise you how often their used everyday. And every time they are used they gain more strength. They also signify that you have not forgiven yourself.

Truly forgetting the past will require you to forgive the circumstances that drove your decision at the time.

If you decided not to get started in a business because at the time you didn’t ‘t has the money, then forgive and forget. There is know way of knowing what may have happened anyways. The regret you are feeling is false and unjustified. Trust that at that moment you did what you felt was right.

We are faced with decisions everyday and the outcomes of those decisions are mostly for the moment not ever lasting success. It is pretty rare when we are faced with a life changing event. So trust your judgment and live life.

Now, if you made a decision based on fears then address the fears so that the next opportunity will not go by wasted.

What were the fears you had?

Losing your job?

Losing the security?

Losing health care for you family?

Fear of Success?

All of these are fears that you can overcome but not when you’re living in regret that will only bring about more of the same.

When my wife and I ventured into our business we took it slow at first because of fear. We did not want to fail and lose everything we had, especially health insurance because of my heart condition.

We soon learned we were letting prior events and failed opportunities limit us from achieving all we wanted. Over and over the “if only” came up and haunted our decisions and kept us from total success.

So how do we combat this foe and win? By using powerful and positive words instead.

Next Time!

Next time signals empowerment. It means that we have taken the past and learned from it. It means you have forgiven and are ready to move forward.

So, Next Time an opportunity knocks you will face those old fears and push them aside.

Next time you commit to losing those extra pounds you will address what may have caused you previous failure and plan for them.

Next Time shows up everyday. It offers you the chance to redeem yourself. It offers the chance to move towards your goals instead of away from them because of fear.

Want to really give your Next Time a kick start? Make this statement. “Next Time I will…”

Now you working with intent and have stated your commitment

Next Time Create the outcome you desire!

Success Really is a choice, You need only Decide!
