The idea of working a another job to earn a second income

doesn’t sound very appealing if you’re already working fulltime.

Family and work commitments can really limit your time. And

you do not want your family to suffer more because of your

absence. However it doesn’t mean you’re headed for disaster

either.

There are ways to generate another income that do not have

to be painful for you. With a little planning, you can

start earning a second income for a nice little side

business that you actually enjoy. What could be better than

making money doing something you love? Here are some tips

to help get you started.

1. Take some time to look at your skills and talents for a second income source.

A key motivator to your success is to do what you enjoy and

then it won’t fell like a second job.

2. Now, consider which of these might be able to make

some extra money. The fact is that almost any hobby or

skill can be turned into a money maker. For example, if you

have musical talents such as playing guitar or piano, could

you give lessons? You could easily earn a few extra hundred

dollars a week without breaking a sweat, doing something

that you love.

3. How about cooking? If everyone is always raving

over your dinner parties, chances are they’d love the

chance to have you cater theirs. Maybe you don’t want to

charge your friends for your services, but you can

advertise your cooking and cater dinner parties for

clients. This is less overhead than a regular catering

business – you can handle each job on your own – and you

can charge big bucks for turning out the food you love to

cook.

4. If you’ve got writer in your blood, the internet

offers lots of opportunities to turn your words into cash.

Writing for websites and others looking for content can pay

pretty well, without the hassles of having a website. Or,

you could start your own website and use your content to

market your writing, sell advertising or affiliate

products.
