The only real tricky part is to find the right type of product to promote. The biggest sellers are the niche’s of dieting, make money online and other popular items in the “how to” genre. Many of the popular niches, like dieting, are also very competitive. However, there is still room for someone who is willing to put in the work. Stay away from the make money niche though, since you are still in the learning phase yourself. It is more a matter of integrity than anything else. Don’t teach or sell what you don’t know. After you have found a product, use the affiliate tools that the product producer usually provides and start making some fast cash. These include banner ads, article samples and probably some keyword ideas. You don’t actually want to use the main keywords in a niche because of competition, but you can use them to make some long tail keywords that you may be able to rank with easier. An example may be in the dieting niche, using weight loss as you keyword would be nonsense. But if you add a few words to either end of the words you create a long tail.
